Pets thrive when they feel safest and the best place they can be is at your home surrounded by all their familiar things (toys, beds, sounds and smells). Your pet gets to stay in their own environment and on their own schedule for feeding, medications and potty breaks. Having neighbors and friends visit your pets can be a great help, but hiring a professional pet sitter leaves you with piece of mind that all the details of your pets needs will be met and your pets are our only focus.
Our services are catered to your needs! We offer a variety of lengths and times that we are available to see your pets throughout the day. For the health and safety of your pets, dogs must be visited a minimum of every 12 hours, cats must be visited a minimum of every 48 hours.
Yes! While not required, tips are always appreciated!
Tailz Up wants you to feel very comfortable with the person responsible for your pets and we do extensive background checks and training with all of our sitters. We will also send a text and picture update every time we visit so you can see how your pets are doing!
We have many options for entering your home safely. Garage codes and door codes work well, and we also offer lockboxes to keep your keys safe. For other situations, such as apartments, where those options aren't available, we have a secure location where keys are kept when not in use.
We know sometimes plans change and we do our best to accommodate the needs of all our clients. You can call, message or email us any changes you may need. Please allow us to best serve all of our clients by noting the policy below:
Vacation Cancellation:
Cancellations made 4 days or more before first visit was scheduled to start – no charges
Cancellations made between 24 hours and up to 4 days before the first visit was scheduled to start – you will be charged 25% of the total visit fees.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours before service start - full amount of service visits will be billed.
Early returns - If you return home early, please notify us immediately and you will not be charged for the remaining visits.
Weekly dog walking clients:
Please notify us no later than 8am the day of the walk and there will be no charge. Cancellations made after 8am the day of the walk will be subject to a 25% charge.
Holiday Cancellation (Including two weeks leading up to Thanksgiving through New Year's Day)
Cancellations made 10 days or more before first visit was scheduled to start- no charges
Cancellations made between 2 days and up to 10 days before the first visit was scheduled to start – you will be charged 25% of the total visit fees.
